Message for the LSU haters.
LSU is #1.
No voter(60) in the entire country cares about the hogs.
It is LSU for the titles, SEC, and BCS. Instead of making a remark, display a stat that shows otherwise.

Pretty clear Arkansas should be ranked higher. You're forcing a rationalization for ranking OU higher by looking to opponents' W/L record. Arkansas can't control how our opponents play, and neither can OU, all we can do is win the games on our schedule. Arkansas has won one more game, has beaten the same amount of ranked teams, and has not been embarrassed at home by a crap team.

You mean like when OU lost to KSU 35 - 7 in the Big 12 Championship Game yet played LSU for the National Championship losing 21 - 14? Would losing 35 - 7 be considered a "blowout"?

If it wasn't clear I was trying to demonstrate how silly it is to make a very arbitrary rule to disqualify some team you don't like (instead of trying to talk about the whole season for every team deserving a discussion)

If the sarcasm was not obvious enough it was meant to be

Jon, hogs almost lost to Vandy.
Look at the schedules and the results.
BTW, according to the SEC rules, highest BCS rank goes to the SEC title in a 3 way tie.
LSU will be ahead of the hogs after the game, no matter the result.

Texas Tech is 5-5. OU lost to an unranked 5-5 team! Dear lord are you trolling me?

No coach is on an ESPN commercial besides Les Miles. An offer for him to go to the NFL is in the works.

UNLESS the top 2 BCS ranked teams are within 5 places of each other, and then it goes to head to head between those two teams. So if Arkansas beats LSU and jumps Bama, and LSU doesn't fall below Bama, Arkansas goes to Atlanta.

oh i see, you quoted me and then changed stats representing an entire season to just talk about a single game instead

yeah, that's silly... goes back to the arbitrary rule about a single game result IMO

I just don't think that Arkansas will jump Bama unless Bama loses. That being said, if LSU loses to Arkansas with what's at stake in that game, they don't deserve to go to the SECCG in my mind.

for the teams you beat it shouldn't matter because all you can do to show your worthy is beat the teams on your schedule. however, if you lose to a team, then that team's quality becomes a much more relevant factor, especially if you're trying to argue a spot in the NC and the team that beat you is 5-5 and beat you at home.

Right, but if Arkansas beats LSU, they would need to jump Bama and for LSU to stay ahead of Bama to advance to the SECCG. I'm not entirely sure that either of those would happen in that scenario.
