Come grow up in New Orleans and learn to eat, drink and live merrily.

You don’t understand Baton Rouge.
It’s not trying to impress people. It’s a soulful city, a place that stays with you. The people there love conversation and love out of towners, just walk right up and start talking to anyone. We like it.
Baton Rouge is an above average city for sports, it produces an absurd amount of athletes, per capita, that make it to the pros. It’s a sports town. We know it should be cleaner, it’s just not a priority, sports, food, and fun are what we care about.

I’ll never forget that place. Not the same since Katrina in my opinion but still just a fascinating city. Always enjoy going back and visiting friends

Yeah I took a tour of the ninth ward one time when I was down there. Freaking sad and depressing.

Parlay’s in Lakeview another good one. I remember seeing Bag of Doughnuts there many years ago.

Gold Mine.
Pulled an ex out of there one night. Had to bring her to the door on my shoulders and had to ring the doorbell to let her dad know she was too drunk to walk.
He was a lieutenant in the NOPD.
Never been so scared in my life!
