Vandy is lucky they had the chance to play Auburn then and not in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014 or 2015. They would've been handled rather easily in a couple of those seasons, and demolished in others.
They have simply gotten the luck of the draw on years Auburn was terrible.

Sure, because only stupid people who don't understand the history of the series and WHY the series is what it is consider it an "indignity".
