Wait- I just looked on Auburntigers.com and Stidham is only a sophomore??? I really thought he was like a grad transfer and around 25 years old. He's gonna have an aarp card by the time he graduates.

He only played as a true freshman at Baylor, sat his 2nd year and this is his 2nd year of eligibility.

He would have committed to Arkansas if we had dropped our offer to Connor Noland from Greenbriar. We told him no and he didn’t want competition so he went to the team that he was guaranteed to start on day 1 and his top 4 prove that lol.

I'm not sure this is the case. Baylor had an awful team this year, but their freshman QB Brewer looks like he could be a good player.

In fairness, a lot of programs send out 200+ "offers" a year, and many are not commitable. I mean, Auburn pretty much had their guy in Gatewood, and Georgia in Fields.

backup plan for most of those schools. He is a good QB, but we got the guy we went after the most.
