Yep. That ball bouncing into the stands cost Vandy the tying run for sure.

Dude hit a rocket that ends up as ground rule double with man on 1st and 2nd. Guy on 1st scores but must go back to 3rd. He would have been tying run. 2 outs and next guy flies out. Game over and Vandy is done.

Vandy runners on first and second with two outs. Rigdon smacks a gap shot double. Any park with natural turf that ball would have stayed in play. Instead it bounced into the stands and the guy on first could only advance to third when he almost assuredly would have scored had it stayed in the park.
Next guy swings at the first pitch and flies out to end the game and Vandy’s season.
