He donated 15 dollars to Act Blue shortly after January 6th. He was 17 at that point.

He registered as a republican when he turned 18 and registered to vote. This was September of 2021, before Trump had indicated he would run again and after the 2021 primaries in PA (which happened in May). When you register to vote in PA you select a party affiliation and for whatever reason he chose Republican.

He was a member of a local shooting range. Their family owned over 20 firearms (all legally purchased). His family said to police that they were unaware of him having any particular political leanings one way or another. The shooter lived with his family and neighbors have reported the house had Trump election signs in their yard up until a few months ago. His mother is registered as a democrat. His father is registered as a libertarian.

On the day of the shooting he was wearing a "Demolition Ranch" t-shirt, a gun channel on you tube. They aren't politically motivated, but are pro-gun.

I'm not going to make claims on anything because as more information comes out I could be proven wrong. I'm simply letting you know the full information that has been reported so far.
