i didnt think the same thing at all
JPW fumble was flukey from the way he was tackled
Gilbert just got straight devastated and there was 0% chance he held on to that ball.
It reminded me more of Lionel Turner in 03 or Ali Highsmith in 07 (just by the nature of the hit)

Not flaming, just putting into perspective what has occurred since 1998...the approximate inception timeframe of the BCS.

BCA is not equal to BCS. BCA was the impetus of the 1990 and 1991 championships.

Both plays were "game sealing" plays. Little or no chance for either team to come back after the sack/fumble/TD (or near TD).

you know most lsu fans think football started around 2000 so anything before that doesnt count to them.

The truly modern era of CFB started with the 2008/09 season. I'm tired of LSU fans living in the past.
Has LSU won any hardware in the last two seasons? Don't think so. Until they do, they should STFU.

LSU fans? I don't think he was rocked. Flukey was a fair assessment.
