This entire thread is an argument for scrapping preseason polls. Its not Bama's fault that Clemson was rated in the top ten to start the season, but we sure saw to that they weren't after week one. After that, I could care less what happens to them.

Where would Ohio State, USC, Auburn, and Clemson have opened if the first poll was released this past Monday, when actual games played determined their rankings, instead of guesswork?

Regardless....

Auburn >>> Clemson.

Clemson is one of the few teams to lose to Tony Franklin's Spread Eagle offense in his 7 game tenure so I'll give you that.

I'm not so sure that's a given. 3 points against Miss State is horrendus. The fact is that right now Bama has beaten better teams than we have, bottom line. I'm not saying we can't beat them or anyone. I just hope we can win some shootouts, Florida, Bama, and UGA will be able to pass on our D. In fact this Saturday I'm calling it now McCray gets burnt again for a big score.

In overtime. By three. With Clemson having nothing but Troy tape to evaluate and two weeks to do it.

I'd say Auburn = Clemson is a little more accurate.

Projo,

Conveniently ignore the blackout game in Athens.

There are other good teams in college football besides LSU.

Deal with it.

I would stay in your house since you come off as a bit inept in the human world.

+1

BTW, USC would still be in the top 10 (just outside top 5). They could lose again and still be up there. They have the "best team ever" according to ESPN.

Our ONLY BIG win was over a HORRIBLE Auburn team. We will play next month and find out who's the real deal.

when you two are through fellating each other the reality is:

ULM

Clemson still sucks and the win over them showed Alabama is a better team than Clemson. Period. So that means Alabama doesn't suck nearly as bad as Clemson sucks.

Nice win over Georgia, though.

Just say it one time, Proejo. "Bama has looked liked a very good team, thus far"

Now tell me how good that feels

LSU will also become overrated when we reclaim our stadium this year.

Ha Ha. Bama had a nice run in Baton Rouge. A little secret: Its over! Go on living in the past though if it makes you happy. What will you Bama fans do when LSU catches then passes your 6 National Championships? We're half way there and closing. That is going to be hilarious.

NUMEROUS Bama fans still use the Clemson win as a "significant" win. I don't see it that way. I don't care what they were ranked at the beginning of the year.

It really doesn't matter... we're 6-0. It's more important to worry about the teams you still have to play instead of the teams you've already played.
