Neither Jason White nor Baker Mayfield were ballyhooed recruits like Manning with a perfect recruiting ranking because of his last name. Nobody had ever heard of them.
I expect somebody with such a legendary recruit ranking and hype machine around him to be able to beat out a 7th RD guy in year 1, absolutely. He should be a generational talent just on his ranking alone and he's a Manning amirite?
