damn it would be nice if atm and texas would meet up in the cotton bowl with atm beating the shite out of the horns. that would be the loudest "SEC, SEC, SEC" the conference has ever heard.

All kidding aside, before you start comparing your longhorns to Alabama and LSU and Florida, I'd like to hear your case for why Texas should be considered more successful than auburn over the last 20 years.

Maybe you haven't been paying attention, but ever since Colt McCoy's arm went limp and Bama ripped Texas a new one in route to another SEC BCS Trophy, Texas been a 2nd tier program. Only UT has been 2nd tier in a 2nd tier conference.

I know Texas is a historically successful program. So is Army, and so is Minnesota. I know you are 7-1 against Alabama throughout history, which still leaves you behind Rice and ULM in willing percentage against Bama.
