Texas just hasn't had the bats to compete in Omaha.

They always have top notch pitching.

Their 1-3 guys, who were pretty much their entire offense during the season, were nowhere to be found in Omaha.

Nice.

Alabama and Troy were there too
Yep - and I think it is good for baseball when a team like Troy makes its first ever appearance. Lot of baseball left to play. So if OU beats UGA today does that make Georgia a non "respectable" team? (We played them 6 times and I can answer that for you if you want to pass).

No?

But if you're trying to put UGA on the same level as Alabama and Troy just because they were in Omaha too, that's on you.

Just like last year with LSU and Arkansas on the same side of the bracket, everyone knew one of them would end up in the title series.

No different than UGA and OU this year.

OU is on a tear. Funny that their coach was at Texas once upon a time

UGA bats have been pretty quiet thus far.

Interested to see if they come out tonight.

really odd. Our pitching was thought to be the weak link but they've been beyond elite so far and have only used 4 arms in 3 games, giving up a total of 4 runs.

Our bats which have been the best in america the entire season haven't made a peep. WE can't hit for shite and I have no clue why.

I think the simplest explanation is usually the correct one, and I'm guessing we're just tight as hell on this stage. All year we've been loose as a goose, fired up in the dugout, etc. but the last 2 games I've seen our whole dugout looking like we've got sticks up our collective arse. They started to come alive a bit late last night so I'm hoping that carries over into today.

Still, even after your struggles, it feels like any one of your 1-9 can go yard at any time.

Wind was blowing in hard last night, looks like it will be blowing out even harder tonight.

Pretty crazy stat...

Texas' 1-4 hitters in 2 games vs UGA:

3-29

0 RBI

18 K

Yikes.

The funniest thing about this thread is that you tried to troll someone for posting too much. All while you dominated every page and have over 20 posts in this thread alone.
