Bizarre that Ohio State will have played the SEC two games in a row in The Horseshoe

The start of the Arch era in Columbus. tOSU replaces more than Texas does. Sark gets 7 months to gameplan for that game (see Michigan 2024 and Bama 2023 for examples of this).

Its only fitting that Archie transfers to tOSU this off season

Ohio State is losing their entire team, 17 or 18 starters are gone.

Their only returning starters are WR1, WR3, RG, and FS. Good luck with that in week 1

Solid play calling from the one.

I can’t disagree with that, this is absolutely the kind of game that Sark finds a way to win

It’s the ones at the end of the season that he can’t quite figure out

He had pretty good play calling when he retired Saban.

They have a frick ton of talent waiting in the wings, and have proven they’ll go out and cherry pick dudes if they need to. Wouldn’t be surprised if the spring window is lucrative for Texas, Ohio State, etc.

If they paid this much to win once, they’ll keep paying to win again. It may not be an all in year like 2024 but they’ll still be contenders.

Texas’ schedule is much tougher.

They will lose and be 0-1, then have at UGA, a much better OU team, at Florida, and A&M.

They will lose 2-3 easy. They lose a ton of guys

They return Caleb Downs & Jeremiah Smith, but that is about it.
They will be starting over next year.
Hope Ryan Day doesn't do a Harbaugh and bolt after a Natty because he know the cupboard is bare next year.

When do you think Saban retired?

How many starters/contributors does Texas lose?

He mentally made the decision week 2 after being handed his worst home loss in his Alabama career.

If you really look at the roster, it's nowhere near as impressive as it's more of a fluke than good roster building. Thanks to Covid's extra year and the roster being stacked with 2nd and 3rd round guys that could be lured back with NIL money, they ended up with this

QB, TE, RT, C, DT, MLB, and SS all graduate players

RB, WR2, LT, LG, DE, NT, DE, WILL, LCB and NB all 4th year players

Oh, it’s because Sark had to gameplan for 7 months against Alabama? It wasn’t because Bama had completely green Milroe starting who couldn’t throw for shite?

Running QB sneak or HB Dive isn’t a hard concept when you’re at the opposing 1 yard line, especially when you have a mobile QB on the sideline. Semifinal Sark lost that one himself.

I didn’t know Milroe played defense. Y’all had 34 put up on you, which could have been 41 but Sark mercy kneeled out the clock.
