Poor special Ed spinning away their cramp defensive package.

Zero mention of A/C issues from La Tech or LSU for 48 hours until they called the pussies out.

Players filed out of the locker room, grumbling that LSU required 12 trips from trainers to the field during the game, 10 of which came in the second half. That included Chaisson, winking at the Texas staff when he went down with an apparent lower-body ailment late in the second half before walking to the opposite sideline. Texas had one trip from the trainer all game, which came on the onside kick in the final minute.

And let’s just end the “class and respect talk coming from the gutter of college football.....

The calls weren’t all sophomoric humor. Strength coach Yancy McKnight got a call from a blocked number that left a voicemail in which the caller threatened to kill McKnight’s family. “You’ll find your family hung in the kitchen with their throats slit,” the voicemail to McKnight said. The caller punctuated with the message: “F--- you.”

Pure trash

Just pointing out that LSU fans do similar things that the OP is upset about with Texas.

No, not the caliber of the AC bs.

The entirety of what UT did looks really bad. LSU has never put all fans and the band in the uppers. Even for OOC games. That seems ticky tacky and like something UT demanded in the negotiations. Our SID has said LSU will do the same thing to UT next year.
Difference is we'll give them ac in the locker room. Although maybe not now lol

BA is right.

Which is it? There was no A/C or LSU brought their own A/C as coach said. Can’t have it both ways.

I read there was no AC and LSU brought fans to move the air a bit because La Tech tipped them off.

Never said it was. Read my posts again. I took exception to the other stuff, not the A/C complaints. Those are legit. the other stuff is laughable.

If that is the worst that happens to LSU this year....be happy! You will have won the NC!

Come on, dude. That other stuff? That really has you bent out of shape?

And that would be fair. One of the Mizzou posters said that is standard operating procedure for the BIG 12.

It could get accidentally broken.

Louisiana Tech wanted to make sure the check cleared before they said anything. They weren't putting it past t.u. to wait until the last minute to cancel funds on the payment.

You just made all of this up.

It was obvious from the kickoff that Texas was outmatched. They have to do things like turn off the AC to compete.

This is the kind of behavior you expect from a third world shithole soccer team.

Come on, dude. Do you really think LSU would have their best pass rusher fake an injury and have to come out of the game?

If you fake an injury you have a lesser player do it...not one of your best. You don't ever want your best players sitting out because of fake injuries.

Out matched? Did you watch the game?

Both teams had 12 drives. LSU scores on 8. Texas six with a dropped TD and missed FG.

Texas beat themselves by taking points off the board. LSU certainly wasn’t stopping them.

This could help explain UT’s decent into mediocrity. They don’t understand that having your best players on the field for as many plays as possible is a good thing

SEC teams seem to do a fairly decent job at giving decent seats to opponents.

I guess it was a good thing Texas got that late TD to make the score look closer, huh?

Well, we certainly strapped them twice in the end zone.

Some of the reasoning Texas fans use and accusations they make are ridiculous. They don't make any sense on any level.

LSU scored almost at will. Outside of one dropped pass in the first half, the LSU defense completely dominated. It wasn’t until after half when LSU was subjected to an environment by Texas that didn’t allow for any type of recovery and frankly placed our players at risk for heat related injury that suddenly your offense was capable. You used dehydration and exhaustion as a game plan.

And you still fricking lost.

Yeah. Unfortunately we opened that door for them. Hopefully we learned a lesson from the Sugar Bowl.

On Turf? I want to be on your side for once Sarge but come on man.

I hate to agree with an aggie but he is right. UT had grass before 2009.

quote:

Recency bias may have convinced Mack Brown in February 2009 that Texas should rip out the Bermuda grass field inside Royal-Memorial Stadium. Brown saw Texas and Texas A&M players slipping and sliding all over during the 2008 Thanksgiving matchup.

There was a lot more Aggies than Longhorns sliding in 2008 but I believe that it was 1998 when they did it to make sure that Ricky Williams had an advantage.

I would hope the 3k seats is a reciprocal thing. That’s pretty Busch league for such a big game.

We got you baw. We slammed that door shut, locked it, and gave the key to UT for a butt chug.

Texas found out they are in fact, not back, and the trip to Baton Rouge is one they will regret scheduling.
