My daughter loves UT with a passion, and Austin itself. She will never come back to bama. I really haven’t seen the crazy liberal shite everyone talks about but she runs with a select crowd.

UT's student body is way different than 20 years ago. Everyone in the Dallas high schools either goes to Arkansas or Texas Tech. Wish Texas still allowed the frat boys in without having to buy their way in.

Austin and the school there is pretty split with liberals and conservatives. It's still Texas after all; they just get to enjoy the nicest part of the state surrounding the city.
The Germans, for all their faults, were smart to settle there.

I really want to go to the october fest in that little town outside the city. There are tons of asians there now, and tons of the legacy frat guys etc have to go to ACC for first year ur two before they let them in, which was bizarre to me. Significant chucks of all big frats are ACC students, which was bizarre to me until I found this out.

I assume you mean Wurstfest in New Braunfels. Plenty to do around there in addition to that without ever going into Austin.

EKG I’ve said it before. Texans are good people and one of the few places where big city folks are nice. Rural folks are nice almost anywhere.
Problem is the Texas pride, and A&M is the biggest offender. They say they have “unlimited resources” and dictate terms when that is an undeniable lie. What % of FBS total revenue is generated by A&M? 1%? Do you think a company that accounts for 1% of total sales in an industry is in position to push around 129 other competitors? See how absurd that is.
A&M wasn’t even told Texas was coming yet many A&M fans act like they own the world. That is why people don’t like Aggies. They lie.

And we know all about Texas, and their bullshite, yet you guys don’t know all the bama bullshite over the decades we have put up with, (watch the history of SEC series, it has shite it there i didn’t even know). We are hoping they will cancel each other out or something
