And have more top 10 wins than current top 10 ags, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, Ohio St, Indiana, Oregon and TT, COMBINED. Our SOS is #5.

Yet unranked Duke has a shot at making it, ND best win is Pitt and they are in. This system is a joke

And Texas beats an undefeated atm team by double digits and moved up in the rankings…….2 spots lol

You can console yourself knowing that your team is one of OU's "quality losses" while OU competes in a playoff game.

I personally care more about the top 15 wins on a teams schedule than the losses regardless against who it’s against.

Y’all are on a delusional island with this take.
Let it go. Better luck next yr

OSU Would drag their nuts over UFs schedule and you know it.

OSU plays nobody huh…you sure you want to go there in a thread about Texas? Hmmm would that mean Texas is a nobody?

Edit: according to this thread OSU is 1-0 against the #1 team this year and has the best win in the country

Texas out gained Ohio State by 200 yards and held y’all to your lowest offensive output in a decade. We were not a good team then, hell we barely had a QB.

No we don’t agree with that. You think Vandy would scare OSU one lick? Utah? OU? ole miss? Those teams can’t win a national title this year

Haha console yourself if you want. Osu dominated that game and TX only kept it close bc they ran a conservative game plan.

So why the hell are we putting them in? Put the teams in who can play for a title.

It’s because there has to be negative consequences for bad losses, just like there has to be positive consequences for good wins.

I think Texas is a top 12 team. I don’t think they’ve earned a playoff bid because they lost a game they should have won convincingly. Bama’s loss to FSU is worse and should be taken into account if they get blown out by Georgia before letting them into the playoffs.

The playoff should be 8 teams. In most seasons it’s still only 5 or less who are actually good enough

All of this will be used to push the NEW 16 team playoff format. I fully expect Alabama to be dropped with a loss in the SECCG. This will be used as part of the justification as well.

Are they more dangerous than James Madison, duke, etc?

That’s my point.

Maybe osu isn’t worried but they absolutely pose a greater problem and risk than those teams.

Again you get to pick. Play OU, Vandy, and atm or duke, James Madison, or Virginia? That’s my entire point. The former is a much tougher opponent than the latter

For a one loss team? Unlikely. It’s most important when there’s a log jam at the back end which in this year there is. Last season Indiana was the same boat, 11-1 but played nobody. Texas at least tried to schedule a somebody by going to Michigan but had we played a nobody last year in the ooc we would have been in at 11-1. My point is we still would have tried to schedule a tough opponent.

If you schedule nobodies in the ooc you better go 11-1 otherwise you are at risk to be left out.

That’s my entire point other than Texas 3 top 15 wins.
