UT Austin isn’t ready for prime time. They’re an 11:00AM kickoff type school just like Michigan. They don’t belong in the SEC. The 2019 LSU game in prime time was because of LSU, not UT-Austin.

You say this as if the teams playing those 11 AM kickoffs are inferior.

Meanwhile, two of the stars of those 11 AM kickoffs have won the last two nattys while LSU hasn't even been in the playoffs either year.

The B1G made its bed with Fox, knowing Big Noon is their marquee time slot. It's not Texas's, nor any other school's, responsibility to help them with that.

If you ask me TexAss is being smart. 11 am games only suck for the home team. Hard to bring in recruits. Harder for the fans to be totally liquored up and nasty. OU and TexAss had plenty of the 11am start times, the B1G knew this going in. 11am is the nationwide prime matchup for television.

Will there be AC in the locker room though? That’s really the bigger issue.

It’s more about not wanting to play on Sunday. It’s makes it a short week for both teams but even more so for Texas, having to travel back to Austin and immediately prep for next week. If they want a night game, make it on Saturday.

This home and home series was first scheduled 10 years ago, and then the dates were adjusted in 2020. Why would Ohio State have waited alll this time to propose a Sunday night game? Nothing about this story makes sense.

You’re already going on the road into a hostile environment.

Why would you make your odds worse? Makes no sense.

I probably won’t watch it if it’s not 11:00. That’s prime time brunch.
