Would be interested to read Tiger fans' thoughts on Texas A&M entering the SEC? I love playing them and love their tradition, but how would this affect our recruiting in east Texas and other things? Is SEC being too greedy? What's the point of expanding since no one else could combine to be a better conference than us anyway? Would be interested in hearing other viewpoints - thanks and Geaux Tigers!

How the hell do you do a conference championship game with 3 divisions?

Keep it West & East.

The effect?

Not good in my opinion. If A&M is the only Texas school in the SEC, I believe they will get very good, very fast. If your a big time recruit in Tx. and you want to play close to home in the most successful conf. where are you going to go?
The PAC whatever. Don't think so.

Each team could play its four division opponents plus one permanent and one rotating foe from the other divisions as part of an eight-game league schedule. In basketball, each team could face its divisional foes twice and all other schools once to form an 18-game in-conference schedule.

They'd be the most likely candidate for the eighth team in the West.

They have a pretty solid athletic department so I don't think its a bad get.

The one good thing about Super Conferences is that it will absolutely pave the way for what would essential be a 16 team playoff.
