You lost your starting QB, 2 WR's, RB and you play in the West, GL
Edit: Oh ya LT

Every team loses players. It's about how you replace them and how good you're coaching is.
It will be rough, as in we go 8-4 this year.

Players don't stay around forever, that's why we recruit .
QB has been hashed-out enough. Remains to be seen.
WR position is the most talented on our roster.
RB is solid as well.
LT will be one of the top guys taken in next year's draft. (#1?)
We won't win the conference, but we'll win more than 5 games.

So you predict basically the same record as last year with 3 1st Round Offensive Players replaced and a more difficult schedule?

You keep bringing up the three guys we lost.
(a) Manziel? Absolutely. Huge loss. But we've been recruiting lights-out at QB. Not much more we could've done than to replace him w the nation's top prospect. Definite question mark.
(b) Evans? Stud. For sure. But Malcome Kennedy, Speedy Noil & Ricky Seals-Jones are pretty sick as well.
(c) Matthews? Cedric Ogbuehi will be Ag tackle #3, three years in a row, drafted in the first round of the NFL draft. Probably the best of the three (Joeckel, Matthews).
So question our team all you want; but not the offense.
It's our defense that will notch us our losses.

I'm still trying to figure out why people keep choosing us to lose too Miss St. They will be on the bottom of the west.

You weren't asking me ... but I see probable losses in three road games--@South Carolina', @Alabama, @Auburn--and possibly at home to LSU. I'm 50/50 on that Thanksgiving night game at Kyle.
But as is usually the case with most teams, we'll likely win one we shouldn't and lose one in the same fashion.

I would agree with this.
My 5th is OM. I do think they will be real strong this year.

Top tier offensive line. Good stable of running backs. Most talented receiving corps in the SEC by a wide margin... I mean he more help than he could ask for.

Lckily Allen after going 0-1 will have 4 cupcakes to get acclomated to the speed of college ball before going on the road again.

Offense is not the concern, it's all about the D. We don't need a QB to do it all, we just need someone that can make the throws and manage the offense.
On O:
QB: Battle between 2 highly rated QB's, one of which looked great in limited action last year and the other that was the #1 Pocket QB. Our multi year backup, Matt Joekel, went through the Spring and saw he wouldn't even be able to keep the #2 job and transferred.
RB: Great options here. Trey Williams is a dynamic speedster that has juke moves to burn. Tra Carson is a huge power back that can move. Brandon Williams is a former 5* with elite speed. James White is a big all purpose back that would start for a lot of teams in FBS.
WR: Returning vet Kennedy surrounded by absolutely sick talent, including 2 players that arguably were the 2 best WR prospects the last 2 years (RSJ and Noil). Also have Nacho who is a 6'7 Mike Evans starter kit and Cam Clear at TE that is a 6'6 280 lb monster that can catch and run. Just get the ball to these guys in space and let them go.
OL: Have the #1 rated OT currently to anchor the LT spot as well as multiple future NFL draft picks surrounding him. Plenty of experience and talent.
The key is the D which should be deeper and more talented than last year. The question is how much they improve and more importantly how much can they stay out of trouble and not get suspended.
