No. You're kidding right? Sumlin's gone?

Sumlin, Fisher... they're still Aggies and it's their body of work since being in the SEC. They averaged 4.5 losses per year under Sumlin and had 4 losses under Fisher.

74-72 says otherwise.

A fluke win in a 7 OT game is all the evidence you have?

Jimbo was 5-6 when he left FSU. What kind record do you think he would have had at FSU this year with the mess he left?

Kevin Sumlin had a better start than Jimbo....

But only aggy delusion makes them think he is going to be better.

Fisher isn't running a fad, BDF offense anymore. I'm pretty happy to see A&M go back to real football with TE's, a running game, and good/great defense

Fisher's style is what is necessary to win in the brutal SEC. Proven time and again.

Kevin Sumlin played a FAR weaker schedule in year 1. His nonconference consisted of SMU, Louisiana Tech and TWO FCS schools. Fisher played one FCS school, a 6-6 UL-Monroe team, an 11-win UAB team and the national champion. Conference slate comparison:

-Florida in 2012 went 11-2, Kentucky in 2018 went 10-3
-Missouri in 2012 went 5-7, South Carolina in 2019 went 7-6
-Alabama went 14-1 in 2018, 12-1 in 2012
-Auburn went 8-5 in 2018, 4-8 in 2012
-Arkansas went 4-8 in 2012, 2-10 in 2018
-Mississippi State went 8-5 both seasons
-LSU went 10-3 both seasons
-Ole Miss went 7-6 in 2012, 5-7 in 2018
-Oklahoma 2012 > N.C. State 2018

So let's compare opponents' records.

2012 opponents' FBS records: 77-46
2018 opponents' FBS records: 105-53

Did you see what Clemson did to Alabama.

You have to take the top off of a Defense.

They pick 6'd Tua on the first drive. That set the tone for the game.

Bama dominated most of the first quarter
They took the ball for a TD the following drive

What set the tone was Clemson throwing the ball downfield
Before then Clemson couldn't run the ball

They put Bama's DBs into single coverage and found the DB that couldn't cover the WR one on one.

Same thing Ole Miss did...

Hugh Freeze wrote the book on how to beat Nick Saban.

Clemson was, by far, the most complete team in college football last season. The reason they almost (and should have, if not for ACC officiating) lost the A&M game is that it took about 5 games for their secondary to get their shite together and for the offense to be comfortable with Lawrence...that and Kellen Mond played out of his mind.

What does have to do with anything?

Alabama moved the ball all over Clemson.
Clemson killed ND.
Had almost 250 more yards.

Clemson and Bama were equal besides the score
A few lucky bounces that game is much different.

But at the end of the day Clemson won not going head up with Bama and trying to run on their D and use the playaction pass but because they put a bunch of WRs in space that Bama's D couldn't cover.
This opened up running lanes because Bama moved the safties back.

Been the same thing since 2008.
A&M should know
If it wasn't for a missed penalty in 2016 they would have had a chance to beat Bama for a second time

When Myles Garrett was pulled down by his facemask.
Right in front of the ref on third down.
Bama should have punted the ball back to A&M.
They were losing at the time.

Be honest CSLobotomy- has aggy ever lost a game that wasn’t the fault of the officials? With us it was always a big sip conspiracy, with clemson it’s the ACC, and on and on and on.
Fact: there is not a single fan base in America that complains about officiating more. I’m just curious if you ever stop and ask yourself why that it is.
