I agree.
If this ends up as a case of him being gullible, even if he lied, embellished about how they met...it is beyond awful.
I can't imagine the mind of someone who would create this fictitious scheme in hopes of self-promotion...if this is the case he deserves to be raked over the coals...obviously.
But it he truly has been gullible, even if he made the situation worse by embellishment...I can't imagine the internal torture he is going through either.
I almost hope and think he would be better off if he was in on a scam...the more i think about it the more confused I get.
