I don't know about that. I don't know any team that wouldn't have put Berry on the field on day one. The guys first collegiate game paired him up against DeShaun Jackson. 2 catches, 11 yards. But like I said before, you can't keep them all in state.

Berry's dad went to UT, I think.
So he was always a UTLock.

Are you forgetting someone Gump? Jacques Smith is currently the only TN player in the Rivals top 100.

fwiw According to rivals Florida and Bama both offered him.

He did before he off-the-field troubles. USC, Florida, and Alabama stopped recruiting him after that. Hell, The Under Armor game dropped him from their game.

Malone is arguably the best player in the state of Tennessee

Got news for you Marlon Brown wasn't even the best WR in the city of Memphis last year...Malone was..watched him put my alma mater out of the playoffs two years in a row.."MINI-MOSS"..about 6 ft and 175...Fly paper for hands..Jumps like Lebron James, we had the defending 200 meter state champ on him and Malone blew past him like he was running in sand...Great player..Best Wr I have seen in Tennessee in the past 15 years..Heard he had grade problems..whoever gets him will get a HELLUVA receiver...Great, Great player..

That was the point of what I was saying. Alabama got a great one in Malone.

He's made up a lot of ground. Things look pretty good for him to qualify. Alabama had 26 of 27 qualify last year. I expect most to make it once again.

If you are referring to Markeith Ambles, then from what I have heard Layla better watch out

That they did..Watched him two years in a row..They.play a TOUGH SCHEDULE..and whoever lands Malone probably stands a chance at landing his junior team mate..ARTAVES GIBSON..a 6'2" 215 lb running back who can run over, around or through you..He my friends is "A HOSS"...great talent on that Mitchell Team..

Yep. Alabama already has him on their radar. We're not taking a true RB in the 2010 class (Fowler at FB and Grant to WR). We'll be after one for the 2011 class.
