It sucks that they relegated this game to late November for the last annual matchup. Hopefully it will be a good game. This one certainly was. Tennessee had a chance to win it at the end and just missed it by a hair.

Remember it well, I thought for sure Medley nailed it. Heck of a game.

Classic game. I will never forget that Callaway td on 4th down — it was a real stunner. You almost had to feel bad for UT in that one.

This was before Florida fans realized that they were about to enter Football Hell and be stuck there for a while.

Simply incredible how retarded Lyle Allen Jones was when it came to playing Gators.
The 2017 fixture was somehow significantly more retarded from a VOLS standpoint

2017 you say?
I agree that Tennessee had to be wondering if they had somehow smited the Lord.

Tennessee wasn't always on the losing end of these games either.

As someone who grew up and started passionately following CFB in the 1990s, UF/UT was THE rivalry in the SEC. It was always in September early as hell in the season so it set the tone out of the gates. Some absolute classics in the series as well. Playing in the penultimate week of the season just feels icky. I guess when the league moved the DSOR from mid-November we should've known that all bets are off when it comes to traditional game placements...

Yep and UT vs UF isn't what it used to be on the national scene any longer, with both teams having their struggles.
