They’re a strange desperate group. However, with that schedule they don’t have much to look forward to so I guess they plan on dying on this hill

"They" is actually I, me .... I have said it on more than one occasion. Only chumps take something completely out of context and attempt to do what you just did there, which is par for the course, coming from you.
Putting it into context I have typed before that I am glad that we didn't get Tom Herman because ...
1 - I didn't feel like he was/is SEC coaching material. He's feminine, strange, wishy washy and eccentric.
2 - He proved he was a pussy, not willing to accept the challenge and put in the work needed to turn the ship around, when he called and backed-out immediately after the Citadel loss.
3 - Later we learned he had wanted a no-buyout clause that would have allowed him to leave at the drop of a hat if Texas called, without penalty. And he would have been gone after one year which would have hurt the program.
I have stated over and over again that I feel we dodged a bullet but I cannot remember any other Gamecock fan supporting me on that per se.
So when you type "they" you're being not only misleading but dishonest.
Reasoning and logic fly well over your head craig.
Oh ... and yeah, when we didn't take Bryce Williams I was the first one to try to avoid stating why and just congratulate Vol fans, until they pushed the whole "we stole him from you" narrative, which was total bullshite.
Everyone knew about his academic issues and everyone knew that only Tennessee, UNC and Miss State could cheat well enough to get him into school and make it look like he was doing the work .... but the question was, which one of those would overlook the fact that he had a history of beating women, a fact that didn't come up until he slapped this same girl during a visit here .... and guess what, she didn't press charges then so she'll probably keep taking the arse beatings until he kills her.
I'd laugh except .... it's so pathetic that it has gone this far. It will end badly.

Is he the same one our compliance Dept wouldn't clear? Who was that if not him? I recall someone we wouldn't clear and Tennessee ended up clearing him.
