I am not religious at all. I also really don't have a problem if a high school recruit has smoked a few joints or engaged in some minor things like petty vandalism once or twice while he was in high school. Comparing Hood's behavior to other recruits transgressions is like comparing apples to assault rifles.

I think it is pretty reasonable to say that I don't want rapists or extremely willing accomplices to the rape of a 13-year old girl on my team.

+1
Just having this guy on campus could prove to be a huge liability to the university. Not to mention that he will on the football team and will be a VERY visible figure in the public eye. He's going to be a lightening rod for bad publicity and will create a shitstorm of distractions for the team...which will be the least of UT's concerns with this move.

I had enough of a clue to know the consequences of duct taping a girls mouth shut, taping her feet to a bed, and raping her with a plunger. you don't lose that kind of evil in five years time.

I would love to walk into a church in Knoxville and ask the congregation what should be done to Daniel Hood, without identifying him as a potential football player for the Vols.

I don't think very many would say that we should forgive him and give him a second chance in life as if he never did anything wrong.

exactly... its one thing to have a kid with drugs or stealing shite but rape is a whole diff ball game. I would be extremely pissed and disappointed in les miles and his staff if we got a piece of shite like hood.

I'm late to the game today. Mark another down as finding this absolutely repulsive.

If this guy is so "smart and intelligent" like one or two are suggesting, then he was old enough to know what he was doing, even at that age. My nephew is only 6 and he knows right from wrong and what will get him in trouble. I do not care that it was 6 years ago. It almost doesn't matter that he didn't do anything..The fact that he was assisting with everything else is bad enough. As far as the argument, well, it was a grown man influencing him... he could have kept going out the back door when he went for the plunger and cellophane and gotten help if he had anytime of moral decency instilled in him.

Sick bastard. If he wants to earn an education, fine, but not on anyone's dime. Period.

exactly what kinda retard things its ok to duct tape a girl and shite and then rape her with a plunger. Even at 13 any right minded person knows that is something that is wrong.

Im not religious at all but frick I still know what is right and wrong.

... not rape his cousin.

Also, don't feed me the whole "you have a lack of moral compass at 13" bullshite because 99% of 13 year olds don't rape their cousins.

also dont forget the only reason he didn't use the plunger was bc it was his cousin. so any other girl and this frick would have actually shoved the plunger in rather than just getting it.

exactly. There is no, NO defense for what he did or failed to do, he was a willing participant, he wasn't being forced to do anything.

yep at 13 duct taping and raping any girl never crossed my mind. I guess thats bc i wasn't raised in tennessee where this kinda shite seems to be accepted.

I know yall sucked dick last year but making excuses for a rapist is one of the shittiest things I have ever seen. This is coming from someone that isn't religious at all and thinks some shite to stir people up is funny but really defending this kid is gutless

yea him saying naw that is my cousin blows any of this he didn't know any better bullshite out. also he wasn't alone with this other guy. others were in the house so he could have easily stopped this but no this frick let it happen. Lane kiffen, the ut president, and any coach on the staff are no better than this kid either. Other sec coaches should use this against ut in recruiting.

Yes, because fundamentalists (like yourself) are the most judgmental fricks on the planet, unless of course it can somehow benefit themselves and then they only pass judgement when they think no one else besides their little circle is listening. They pretend to be apathetic in front of the sinners face, but as soon as they get behind closed doors, the truth will come out of them. Most of them have the "I'm holier and better than you" vibe. Not that all of them are this way, but the vast majority of them are, and a ton of them have gigantic skeletons in their closet that are as bad or worse as the person they are judging.
