Come on. You can't really buy into this story you've created that Hood is just a dumb, immature kid. Everything in the report suggests that it was a premeditated attack, and as you can see from the link you have posted of his Rivals page over and over, he is clearly not a dumb kid. However, he is a twisted sadist.

That literally was the first page. I continued reading and I would say the posts are 90+% in favor of the move/hoping no publicity comes from it. The rest are people posting "do we really want this?"
No disgust through five pages.
EDIT: There is SOME disgust...at Chris Low for reporting the story on ESPN.
Link to volnation?

I know Ole Miss signed a bunch of shady guys in 2005 and 2006, but as far as I know, none of them helped someone sexually assault his own cousin.
And Ed Orgeron is now recruiting over there. I don't think this is a coincidence.

i bet coach o has raped more than his fair share of people.
Posted on 5/5/09 at 5:27 pm to OMLandshark
This guy is basically going to be a preferred walk-on based on the Rivals list, so I doubt Coach O would be too interested in him. Now if he was a former 5-star playing at a California Juco, he would be all over him.

My mistake, he was just given a scholarship this afternoon. He isn't going to walk-on.

Helping Murder someone and taping someone up is two totally different things, and you fricking know it.
Rape is the second worst crime you can commit. And he helped tape her up, take her clothes off, tie her to the bed, and got the weapon that was used to rape her while he cheered him on. This is murder's equivalent of abducting the girl, tying her to a chair, go to the closet to get the gun, and giving it to his accomplice, and cheering him on while he kills her. The mother fricker is just as guilty.

Because I am so comfortable with this?

I am shocked that Kiffin is letting himself walk into a no-win situation by offering a scholarship to a marginal talent (for the SEC at least) who has such an awful track record off the field.
