No he is being honest. It's going to be the ugliest bass whippings in college football this season. No joke. If college football had a mercy rule like prep sports, game would be continuous clock from third quarter on. It's gonna be ugly. Thank goodness I will be on assignment elsewhere.

We have almost no talent, a new coach, and we are playing a top 10 team on the road. What should I be expecting?

I would think with some oline talent that you guys could cover a 30+ point spread.

How bad is your team? I keep hearing about some great olinemen. Is the defense really that bad?

Terrible. O-line should be very good. Yes.

That will be fun. Strength on strength and will be a good barometer for our dline.

The oline is awesome. Unproven at receiver and QB, with an iffy backfield.
Last year's defense was horrific, but mainly due to inept coaching. I don't really have that much faith in Jancek either though, based on what I've seen in the past and what UGA fans have told me.

This should alleviate a lot of concern with unproven skill guys. Personally, this what makes me really excited about the game. Chip wanted to go get an SEC dline and the pieces are in place.

We're gonna get howitzered but I don't think it's by 30+
Nearly everything about our team right now is an unknown. The starting QB, depth at WR, how and if the back field will step up with the new scheme etc, etc. & IMO the talent we have isn't close to being bad, but it's not stellar either. It's gonna be how the new staff can devise a plan to get these guys to have big plays/stops.
I fully understand why our guys are expecting the arse whooping, I'm just hoping it won't be of monumental proportions
ETA: Threw another sentence in on the 2nd paragraph

104 starts/125 games between the 5 starters and a 2 deep that has played significant time as well.
Only allowed 8 sacks on 482 pass attempts last year.

Oregon's specialty is dropping 60 points on mediocre teams with sub-par defense. They absolutely destroy .500 teams better than anyone but they do struggle against top teams though (2010 Auburn, 2011 LSU, 2009 Ohio State)

Phil Steele just came out with his All - Pac 12 team and 7 of our starters made the first 3 teams on offense. This is the most ridiculously stacked offense we've had. Two 1st team OL and a 2nd team selection with a 1st team RB and QB. In reality, I think Colt Lyerla at 3rd team TE just shows the ridiculous amount of top end TE talent in the PAC with Lyerla making a bunch of 1st round draft boards. Dude is up to 265 pounds at 6'5" and a 40 inch vertical. Suffice it to say that dropping 60 will be easier than ever.

Oregon by 28 sounds about right. The o line will be good, but they can't make up for the rest of the shite team.

Actually, some of those 330 games at Autzen looked really beautiful when it's sunny as well.
