Good gawd, you are stupid. Kiffen f'ed UT up the arse and you want to possibly thank him? Unreal!

Kiffin left for a pay raise and a better job, tell me you wouldn't do this. He improved the athletes in the program drastically while he was here, nothing more could be asked of him.

If Kiffen had stayed much longer he would have left a major NCAA investigation when he did bolt. He recruited well, but it was only because him and Ogre are two of the dirtiest in the business. Hell, he came pretty close to doing some damage in that regard in just his 1 year there. You might have been better off with him short term, but long term you'd have been fricked. There is a reason USC's new AD wants to get rid of him as soon as he has a good excuse.

Pat Haden was on the 3 man panel that recommended Kiffin to Mike Garrett. I can agree with everything else you posted.

I only got into this because someone said that Kiffin was more to blame than Fulmer for our current situation. That is inaccurate.

I agree with Santa. This Vol's view must be the minority. I hope it is. Kiffin is on track to be the biggest douche in the history of douches.

I could give a flying frick what his persona's like off the field. I enjoyed his smugness and cockiness it helped him on the recruiting trail. I do concede that the 'AA stuff wasn't acceptable, but it wouldn't have surprised me if he had wiggled his way out of that.

You are fine with a douche representing your proud football team/University? He could recruit but at what cost? He was leading you down the wrong path. I think many of your influential boosters were embarrassed, no?

I think you are wasting your time w/ this guy. He obviously liked the thuggishness of little kiffey. Win-at-all-cost fan you're seeing there.

Yes. If he wins.

I don't know. That concerned me.

Ethically maybe, but not wins and losses wise.

Yes, most were Fulmer supporters. The reason we were in this situation to begin with. If we had fired Fulmer after 05 we could have picked about any coach in the country outside of the cream of the crop.

Your a fricking disgrace.

The guy has coached 4 games with possibly the youngest team Tennessee has ever fielded. All you post is negative shite.

Take Kiffin balls off your chin.

Dooley will not have success at Tennessee, period. I don't care what anyone says...he's Mike Shula the 2nd. The UT AD is a moron. In 3 yrs you'll fire him (hopefully), and you'll get a better coach. People who say stars and offer lists don't matter are morons. You can't win this league without some top notch talent.

Uhhhhh, Mike Shula saved you tards in Bamaland.

You were in dire straits, or is your memory that shallow?

I bet shallow in your case.

Yeah, he's such a hero. I mean, he got paid millions of dollars to lose football games.

Oh yeah? You lose some credibility here, considering Justin Hunter never once even considered Tennessee before Dooley stepped foot on campus.

Also, Oku was a FULMER commit and had absolutely nothing to do with Kiffin.

Montori Hughes was a 2 star from Murfreesboro that also committed under Fulmer.

If you are going to argue, don't throw out ridiculous names that committed under Fulmer and claim them for Kiffin.

Are you new??? Vol fans showed absolutely not mercy whatsoever on 'Bama during their ongoing NCAA investigations and multiple coaching changes.

quote:

By the way, Bama fans ought to thank Shula for what he did for the program. He may not have been the "Bear Jr." but he resurrected Bama from the depths.

Is that so? So having ONE winning season in FOUR years and going 1-12 against your three main rivals constitutes as resurrecting a program from the depths?

He did win you many games despite coming in on VERY late notice and team on probation.

You should thank him, but maybe you, and possibly other arrogant bamatards, are too stupid to realize.

You don't think we could have found a coach that won 50% of his games? Cause that's all Shula did. Not hatin' on the guy cuase I'm sure he's very nice, but he was a lousy coach.

I miss Kiffin in the SEC, he provided an excellent heel for the conference. Almost as fun as Spurrier when he was at Florida.
