Probably not. He used up all his eligibility so that would be a clear violation of NCAA rules.

Having many friends that are UT fans and having lived in the area and been to a few games; it's just not happening.

It might not, just the same as Alabama won’t stay on top forever. I’ve been to BDS during the down years and people said the same thing about Bama then.
We shall see, friend.
We shall see, friend.

Eh UT will win again but it will be after Saban retires.

Tennessee will never again beat Alabama in my lifetime.

They will never realize this.
Tennessee will never be at a level where they win over Bama at a rate higher than 2/5 while Bama is still on top.
If Bama falls completely, Auburn or LSU will take their place and new Bama fans will be more concerned with those teams than Tennessee.
Tennessee will never be where Bama (or even LSU) is at now.
The Tennessee rivalry only becomes more irrelevant as the days pass. Tennessee finally having some consecutive winning seasons doesn’t change that.

2018 @Auburn
What’s Mushcamps buyout this year?

Are you mad because the BasketVols passed Kentucky or is it something else? Kentucky has beaten Tennessee in football 4 times in my 44 years on this planet.

You think those 4 years at Tennessee for Payton are what built the Tennessee dynasty?

frick Kentucky.
And what do you mean Tennessee “passed kentucky”? Didnt Tennessee suck this past season?
Pretty sure kentucky was better. Is this one of those things where you think you’re at the top because you finally beat Vandy?

It took Barnes a couple years but they have passed Kentucky. No reason for Kentucky to even bother with sports. Pearl at Auburn and Barnes at Tennessee just took the thing that made them special.

I agree, but Kentucky was better than Ten last year.

Lol Pearl is way better than Barnes.
Lmao at even comparing the two.

I think that was the end of UT being nationally relevant, yes. The T Martin year was the last one.

And the year they lost the SEC title game and a return trip to the BCS title game? From 1985-2002 saw a great run for Tennessee on a national stage. And the Vols will be there again. The program dug a hole with Kiffin and Dooley but it’s not fatal.
