And USC had to forfeit their title. So if one of your current players is found to have received impermissible benefits and is playing, that means Tennessee will have to retroactively forfeit all games they played in this year no?

Pruitt represented the University. There is no division between the two parties. Worse yet is the lack of institutional control. In every case involving overtly paying players, the NCAA has vacated wins for the seasons that the offenses occurred, as well as successive seasons. The NCAA will likely punish Tennessee for the Pruitt years and 3-4 successive years, including 2022, 2023 & 2024 and possibly 2025.

LSU fans were right all along. LSU was clean as a whistle. It was Will Wade who was dirty. It had nothing to do with LSU.

Good point other than you being wrong dipshit.

Why the frick are you answering about Tennessee especially when you’re wrong?

Tap the brakes there sparky. I was simply quoting an article. Here, I will actually cut and paste here for you so you can practice your reading skills.

Lets take it slowly, ok? THIS part below? It is taken from an online newspaper article from a source called the Knox News. Knox is short for Knoxville. Newspapers are like your internet, only it comes on actual paper. Take your time and annunciate the words below and try to comprehend. I even put the important words in bold to give you a mental crutch you so desperately seem to require:

quote:

Per the Knox News report, that means a postseason ban is unlikely this year:

The extended timetable potentially takes a postseason ban for this season off the table. UT did not self-impose a bowl ban, citing new NCAA legislation.

Now if you were able to accomplish this without help, congratulations! Perhaps you have now realized my post was actually defending Tennessee for NOT self-imposing sanctions.

Now, if you have a problem with what I quoted from Knox News, your incoherent rant should be directed towards them as they would be the dipshits who wronged you.

As for my "answering about Tennessee", its a fricking message board you dickless mouth breathing twit. It is kind of the reason it exists.

Even with the violations they had. Lack of Institutional Control was not one of them.

I can definitely see some short term issues. Definitely some transfers.

Already happened before last year. The Vols were playing with 50 healthy scholarship at times.

Not going to ruin a season for players ... not involved

Pruitt was coaching there 2 yrs ago. No guarantee some of the current players didn't get McDonald's bags

So the University was behind the payments?

You said that they had self imposed nothing but the article you link only talks about a bowl ban. Clearly there were things outside of the bowl that they did impose.

Oh no... Don't take our scholarships away... we'll just have to directly pay them cash for school if that happens

I don’t think you have a clear understanding of how this works.
