What about the other 6 losses?
During that streak the rest of the west has beaten UTe more times than Bama has. We've no need to dickride. Butch does a good enough job of that.

Only post-Butch streaks should be taken into consideration. Winless so far, but we play the toughest western schedule of any team in the east and he's only had 3 shots at western teams not named Alabama. Tennessee is an honorary member of the division.
Butch has ended most streaks (and started a couple of his own). Only two remain and they can be knocked out in 2 weeks back to back.
And the ACC would have ran over us during the Dooley years. And that's being nice.

Florida - 11 losses in a row to the Gators (Snapped)
Georgia - 23 straight losses on the road to ranked teams (Snapped)
- 4 straight losses in Sanford stadium (Snapped)
A&M - 11 straight losses to the West on the line
Bama - 9 losses in a row to Bama on the line
Could be a 4 game run of breaking a lot of streaks for the Vols!

Aggies weren't even in the SEC most of that time.
This game really doesn't mean that much in the SEC race, but the Vol tears will be fun!
