Great leader, great hands/pass catcher, fantastic runner in space but can run between the tackles. Weaknesses: ball security. Has improved but could still work on pass pro.

Personality = Awesome. He's that guy who manages to do his own thing and be quirky and confident without being arrogant or cocky. People gravitate towards him and he's fun as hell to watch and listen to.

Great return guy.

Can run

Can catch

Very slippery

Makes things happens when you put the ball in his hands.

Great character. Represented UT well and is well like by coaches, teammates, and fans.

Love the guy. He's quick, not fast, but plays hard. Kamara is smart and a hard worker.

Oh yeah, and he has good hands.

I think he's a perfect fit for your offense. Hard runner who can absolutely take it between the tackles, but is more known for his wiggle, burst and making plays in space. He's a legit 4.5 guy who is a dynamic athlete. Excellent hands and accels at catching out of the back field. Hes got big upside and has the ability to be a game changer in that offense. New Orleans jumped to the top of the list of stacked backfields with the AP and Kamara additions imo

I love how the SEC rant can become friendly this part of the year

I was going to come ask Tenn fans about Kamara as well. Thanks for the insight guys. Looking forward to seeing him in black and gold.

Love the pick as a Saints fan but he is a quitter/traitor who couldn't cut it at Bama. I'll forgive him if he improves our screen game

He was the most dynamic player on Tennessee's offense.

He's the Darren Sproles replacement they've been looking for in N.O.

Why would you be melting? He was a steal where you got him in the draft

quitter/traitor

There is an argument for quitter, but traitor is ridiculous.

Who did he betray? An 18 y/o kid from GA that came into a crowded backfield with 3 other stud freshmen.

He was doing well if I recall over summer/fall camp until a knee injury. If not for that he may not have even RS'd.

Grew frustrated and impatient as a very talented player watching every game from the sidelines. Acted out a bit, found himself in the doghouse with CNS a couple times. It came to a head with a supposed incident with a potential recruit.

Kamara didn't see a clear path to the field and asked to be let go and he was, with no issue. It certainly, didn't hurt Bama and it led to some humbling experiences that proved good life lessons for Kamara.

In all, he is likely better for it. Glad he has his head on straight and wish him the best.

All that said, I selfishly wish he had stuck it out at Bama. He'd have been #1 back last year without a doubt and provided a level of experience and explosiveness that was missing.

Saints got a good one. Although, arguably, they already had 2 good ones and could have kept improving D.

He's also one of those types of guys that everyone instantly likes when you meet them in person. Also a pretty smart guy.

I love that he went to the Saints. He'll do a lot with limited carries and have a very long and productive career without getting heavy workloads.
