Actually Vodka is low carb, which is crazy considering it's made from potatoes, which is high in starchy carbs.

For real? I just assumed it was due to the taters.

I'm a Rum man, having a Caipirinha now as a matter of fact.

Rum is good but sometimes too sweet for me unless it's mixed well. In fact, sweetness is the problem I have with a lot of Tennessee Whiskeys and Bourbons. I'm ashamed to admit it but Tennessee Fire is something I can get behind because it balances the sweetness of JD whiskey with cinnamon.

If I had the money... I'm a scotch drinker but I'm a bit particular (meaning I can't afford what I want ).

Most liquor is low carb, provided you're not a pussy who mixes with a lot of sugary shite.

There's water and the soda you use for scotch and soda. You might get away with Mtn Dew for Southern Comfort and some Coke and Rum but other than that it's water and plain old soda water.

Was drinking with one of my Vol friends earlier, her rarely drinks but when he does it's Woodford reserve on the rocks.

It was one of the few times that as an adult things totally got away from me. I was shite faced before I knew it.

With scotch, the only acceptable mixer is ice cubes

Damn, now I'm wanting to hit up the liquor store for some. I like the cost/benefit of cheap vodka although I've never been a big fan of the taste but that stuff really tastes great.

indeed. When at bars, which is a rarity these days, I always like a grey goose or Stoli with sugar free red bull when I wanna mix it up.

Depends on the Scotch. Both water and soda are acceptable in certain circumstances. Ice is great if you have time for it to melt. A lot of old Scotches are closer to drambuie and need to be cut -- same is true for a lot of bourbons (tho we're not allowed legally to admit some of the shite we make is a rye based drambuie).

If you like a Scotch with heavy peat or whatever it is that I can not stand, I'll send you a bottle. A customer gave me a bottle of Laphroaig 23 year. I took one sip and about threw it up. I'll send it with the case and everything if you want it. User name at gmail, I'm not kidding, I'm not a Scotch drinker.

Well the number 1 ranking in basketball at this point is not as important as our diets and drinking habits obviously. I hope y'all are 1st though.
