Yes, the secrant has been pretty vocal about midweek games don’t matter unless you lose a midweek game. Then the sheep rush in and make a big deal out of the loss. Spoiler: BaseVOLS didn’t lose, they won and 4-5 pitchers gave up 2 runs and played 19 players.
It’s incredible that we have secrant posters making midweek game threads about a BaseVOLS win. I love it.

SEC schools do not pitch their best pitchers in mid week games against non conference foes. You cannot judge anything by these games.

and that wasn't the score either.
Not the sharpest but a tool nonetheless.

Tennessee keeps finding a way to win. I think I heard them say they are 7-0 in extra inning games? I'm a believer (I am still going to give you hell if you lose a midweek game though).

Isn’t that the team that walked into Oxford a couple years ago and took a regional from OM? Or was that some other Tennessee directional school?
In 2018 TTU led the all of baseball in batting average, homeruns, and most offensive categories.
They beat Ole Miss in the regional and finished #11 in most polls.
They have their ups and downs like most smaller schools, but they are no slouch most years in baseball.

I don’t feel great about defending Tennessee baseball, but didn’t MSU get speed bagged by Texas Southern last year?
Usually anything can happen in midweek games, but nobody loses to Texas Southern. That program routinely gets pounded by 15-20 runs. And one extreme example is the time NM State beat them by 32 runs
