This game used to be 1step below Armageddon every year. It’s lost a lot of luster. Bama and Saban just almost destroyed the rivalry by winning so damn many in a row. As a fan of Bama I loved every win. As a fan of college football though it really hurt the rivalry.

It’s taken a lot of terrible officiating in those 2 games to get Tennessee there. It’s not like it used to be when Stallings and Majors/Fulmer was there when each team could hold their own against each other.

Second loss wasn't so bad, but the first was literally the only time it was so one sided it was atrocious. Even though, a loss is a loss. Can't blame the refs. Just don't let the play of the game put it in their hands.
Bama could absolutely lose to UTk. Very talented team. But, as a fan. UgA, Vandy and even Mizzou had/have my nerves more on edge
I feel okay about the Vols.
Bama still has a loss to burn and make the playoffs. Tough road ahead. But, the last couple of games make it more hopeful.

You can’t be big boys and just line up and beat us straight up? Those were the 2 most controversial wins I can remember in the recent history of the series.
