Nobody said the situations were similar. I said the way the coaches campaigned for their teams to be in the game was similar.

Okay, so now that we know that the game was important enough to make history, which was a team already beaten by a conference champ and in the same division met for a rematch.

Already responded to this. We didn't lose to any of them. The only game that we didn't win by more than 2 touchdowns was LSU on 11/5.
We destroyed the rest of our schedule.

3 teams. Before the bowl season Bama beat 3 teams above .500. Only 2 ranked teams all year.

I was just making sure that even though 2011 season for LSU was a giant fail, that a very important game that marks Bama's NC season was losing to LSU at home.

I said their résumé was far weaker than OSU. That's a fact. You may not like it but it is.

Because we did belong. Clearly. If Oklahoma State hadn't beaten Oklahoma so badly, there wouldn't have been a debate. It wasn't like we jumped Oklahoma State to get into the game. We were sitting at #2.
You're complaining about voters not jumping Oklahoma State over Bama.
Again, the only people that don't think Bama belonged are LSU fans and Oklahoma State fans.
We were put into the game by the BCS system - which included human votes, and computers.

Although, after the fiasco of 2011, Kansas does have a right to bitch now. A 1 loss team who didn't win their CC and they got denied by an SEC team because they did win their CC. Amazing how another SEC team gets beneficial treatment a few years later that Kansas didn't get, right?
