Lance Taylor as a WR coach would be tits, but doubt it happens.

Was this on RBR? They usually do a good synopsis of the hires and stuff. And what're our chances, and is he awesome?

I don't go to RBR, so I wouldn't know.

He is a former player and a favorite GA assistant of Saban when he was at the Capstone.

I agree. I don't like that we'd be hiring a guy who absolutely got away with NCAA violations as a player

Agree. I wouldn't like it. But Coach Saban doesn't ask me for advice.

No one of note, he's only been coaching for few years:

2008-2009: Bama GA
2009-2010: Appilachian State WR coach
2010-Present: Jets assistant S&C coach/offensive assistant

We could do better. I'd be happy with it. Especially, if the Jets win the Super Bowl.

I wasn't too pleased with Cignetti anyway tbh. I think it would be an upgrade.

Apparently Saban likes his work ethic, he personally recommended him for the Appalachian State job.

I really can't get a feel on what type of WR coach he'd be brought in as, my guess would be a little green in the technical aspects, but a young guy who can level with players and recruits...
