If Tebow plays, is it a slap in the face to Brantley?

+1

I read his blog everyday.

He's given LSUfreek a canvas to display his talent on there as well.

and HBG is awesome too.

I'd actually look for him to play at the earliest on october 31st.

That's absolutely ridiculous. He's practicing in full pads but won't be able to play for three weeks? You might be in the medical field, but there is no way you could know how long he will be out.

It's just a best guess.

The other kid on the team who had a less severe concussion two weeks ago isn't going to play.

Concussions are taken seriously these days.

Not like it used to be.

I would be surprised if he plays. I had a concussion a few months ago from hitting my head when getting out of the shower. It depends on the individual and the particular injury, but with me...it caused all kinds of weird symptoms. I didn't regain a good sense of balance until around 2-3 weeks later. Tebow took a harder lick...who knows?

I also started seeing purple and gold blotches before my eyes and started posting on TD about that time.

I don't know if this is true. The Saints got a penalty for someone hitting a defenseless player on a kickoff.

I don't see how Tebow plays because it is a PR nightmare waiting to happen to Florida. If he does have another concussion it would be a major problem for the program in the media. They will be criticized regardless if medical professionals thought it would be ok. I expect them to be extra curious for this reason and hold him out at least another week.

Florida coaches have said all along that Brantley is good and can play winning football for them. He has been sitting behind Tebow for 2 years and is a better passer. Maybe he is their Greg Mcelroy. Remember that you guys thought Bama would struggle with him at QB no matter how many people told you how good he was.

Anyone else remember a new QB going into the horseshoe a few weeks ago and winning?
