4-7 at Murray State
5-6 at Murray State
5-6 at Boise State

All three of these are turnarounds.

Murray State won 11 games the next year.

The 5-6 record at Boise State was alot better than the 0-11, 1-10 or 2-9 record that came before it
Who knows what his record would have been the next year.
But that 5-6 record at Boise State was an accomplishment.

Oh and by the way, I don't mean to break your heart but chances are this 2010 class for Petrino will be worse than anything Nutt signed, or as bad. I don't recall most of the top7 to 10 players leaving the state under Nutt ever especially early in his career. Bobby has also had alot of commits and alot of vistors come in who immediatly decommited or committed elsewhere. All of the Defensive linemen who's committed including beachum has either decommitted or is projected too. That's bad b/c they were already plan b guys now we are on to plan c and d.

You might as well enjoy what you are seeing now b/c this program is headed downhill my friend. We're going to be battling MSU for last place in the west very very soon. we are basically headed back to the Danny Ford years.

You're wrong. It's Nutt's fault that he took teams with shitty talent and won 5 games the first year.

Petrino is a saint for taking a team with "shitty" talent and winning 5 games the first year.

Why can't you see this?

/sarcasm.

I can't see this cuz I'm a dumb Old pisser who can't see anything because I have my hood on backwards and am too busy hating black people to understand anything about the world.

Which would be? What? That Petrino isn't a horrible coach despite his team's lack of success, as WRT would have us believe?

That he hasn't shown us that he is any better than what your fan base ran off.

Petrino is not a horrible coach. I doubt his philsophy will win here. I just do not think he can recruit well enough to keep the job beyond 5 years. You and your peers will get tired of losing the Dyers, mathews, Byran jones' of the world every year.

I think that Petrino is a fine coach, despite his apparent lack of success.

I thought that your point was that Nutt isn't a good coach.
A point which has been proven wrong, time and time again.

You reap what you sow, buddy.

I've already discussed this more than I care to, 'cause if there are still people out there that think we're comparing apples to apples, I have no argument. If we're going to say that the 85 players under scholarship for both schools have been of equal talent/experience, then yeah, Petrino sucks balls. You win. Arkansas fans are stupid.

You won't really get to see how good/bad Nutt is until next year when Orgeron's players are gone. Maybe he'll do great, maybe not. We'll see.

True, but this is all Arky fans post about. Darvin Adams is the leading WR in the SEC but there are only 1 or 2 threads about it. Bama fans post more than just Ingram threads, McClain, Cody, Julio ect.

Orgeron left us dick in the CB and OL market. Our OLine success against Tennessee was a HUGE statement to Nutt and Co.'s coaching.

And Nutt had to turn an undersized WR into one of our best DB's(granted he had a pretty down game Saturday).

Marine, if you want us to start more threads about Razorbacks just ask. Glad to see you want to read more about our players.

Tebow is not a good passer anyone who says otherwise is clueless.

Yeah, I wouldve agreed until I saw his first TD pass yesterday. NASA doesn't have lasers that accurate.
