About gays in general:
I have a couple of gay friends. There's a sizeable gay community in Fayetteville. Our city manager is gay. We've had open gays on our city council. Nobody gives a shite. Some of our best local artists are gay. We have a gay nightclub and a gay bar, mixed right in with our other bars and clubs.
One night, driving my drunk buddy (who happens to be gay) home after a night of drinking, he asked me if he could "help me out" in a certain way. No.
The next day, he was very apologetic, and he never brought it up again. It was a momentary lapse of judgement in a state of drunkenness to which I'm sure we can all relate.
It didn't offend me any more than if some fat beast had hit on me, and later it became an inside joke.
He's my friend. 99% of our friendship has nothing to do with him being gay. He's a bigger football fan than most people I know.
We all joke, but all jokes aside, if you're really, really afraid of gay people, I'd suggest that the issue is with you rather than gays.
Thats not to say you have underlying gayness or whatever. But I don't think there's anything to be afraid of about gay people. A man's own moral or ethical compass should be strong enough that he can handle living with or working with someone he disagrees with, if thats the case. I just don't get the idea of it being a "threat" of some kind.
And maybe I'm a liberal (although I've been called a right-winger) or whatever, and everybody can make up their own minds about it.
But there's really no need to be afraid, IMO.
And yes, as far as threads go, this one is

No I am not. We live in a culture where men allow themselves to let women dominate their lives....which, by the way, is why feminism became so entrenched here while it has been rejected in so many other places.
And why do they do it? Because they are emotionally dependent on women, in part because they are incapable of having normal friendships with other men (which you see in just about every other culture in the world).....and the reason for that, of course, is that they fear being seen as "gay" and being socially ostracized if they do have normal emotional ties to other men and stray at all from total devotion to women.....
You are only hurting yourselves by adhering to such an ideology, whether you realize it or not....

But let's face it--even now, if you want an elite education, you pretty much have to leave the South.
Tripe.

Most men can hang out without someone thinking they're in a gay relationship IMO
The more you post, the more I think you were raped by a woman with a bottletree

I think what you wanted to say was, "admire a masculine physique" not enjoy looking at beautiful young men. because that crosses a line of creepiness.

This.
there's nothing wrong with giving someone props on being ripped. I, for one, looked at Tebow's pic and thought to myself....dammit, i gotta work out more often.
