1. Auburn - Surpassed. I figured Auburn would be an 8, maybe a 9 win team.

2. Alabama - As expected. I figured they'd lose two, possibly 3. I figured their secondary was going to be suspect.

3. Arkansas - As expected. A 10-2 or 9-3 season is about what I expected, but i'm actually surprised at our run game.

4. LSU - Surpassed. Their D is even better than I thought it would be, but their O is about what I expected.

5. Mississippi St. - As expected. Watch out for MSU in 2012.

6. Ole Miss - Below expectations. Sad, just sad.

i thought the west was gonna be tough this year, i figured 8 to 9 wins. The run game and defense are what made me agree we surpassed my expectations. I think we are better next year though, the defense should keep improving year to year and the offense will always be there with petrino.

I would have laughed for days if you told me LSU had a great shot at 11-2/12-1 this season. There is no way you had us doing us this well. No SEC rival did, really.

Ole Miss and Alabama are below expectations. Ole Miss way below. Everyone else surpassed IMO.

1. AU*-Surpassed, even with Cam I didn't think this was any better than a 8-9 win team. I was wrong, their defense has just done enough to win and Cam has been superman. Too bad it won't mean shite.

2. LSU(1)-Surpassed, the best defense in the conference by far, the only dominant defense. With an even average QB this team is undefeated. Chavis and Miles are doing an excellent job in BR.

3. Bama(2)-Fell below, this is a good team don't get me wrong but at the beginning of the year I thought they were great. The defense is damn good but a little sketchy at times. OL has been the achilles heel on offense.

4. Arkansas(3)-Surpassed, this is not a one dimensional offense anymore. With the emergence of Knile Davis and a servicable defense this is a pretty damn solid team. I expect they'll probably finish with 10 wins after the bowl.

5. Mississippi State(4)-Surpassed, this is by no means a great team but it's solid. The defense is one of the best in the conference and along with a strong running game has carried the team to 7 wins. With that said, I expect a similiar season in 2011 before the ship is completely righted with Mullen.

6. Ole Miss (5), Fell below...what can you really say, losses to Vandy, Jax. St, etc. Losing to UT 52-14...this is just a completely horrible team from top to bottom.

Hard to argue much there

1. Auburn - Better than expected, thought they'd win 8 or 9.

2. LSU - Better than expected, thought their offense would keep them from winning games. Somehow they lucked out in several games and have only lost once, but can't fault them for being lucky because that's just part of the game.

3. Alabama - Worse than expected, I thought they would win the division.

4. Arkansas - Better than expected, I predicted we would only win 8 games in the regular season, but I really think we will win at least one of the last two.

5. MSU - Better than expected by one game. I didn't think they'd beat Florida.

6. Ole Miss - Amazingly, they were worse than I expected. I thought they would at least be bowl eligible with Masoli, but it looks like a longshot now. I would like them to beat LSU though, because that improves our chance of going to the Sugar Bowl.
