Also power back and aTm offense don't go together. He would be 6th on the depth chart at Alabama fwiw

Numbers don't lie. And as far as the same back comment goes, I'd hardly call Carson a "thumper" where was he during the Alabama game? He would have gotten "thumped" by Alabama LBs that outweigh him by 50 pounds.

You have 280 pound LBs. Damn they must be slow.

What does that have to do with you saying he is the same type RB as Brandon Williams? Pretty ignorant statement.

Trey Williams is the best of the three, IMO period.

What a shitty take.

That was never the plan against Bama. We weren't going to beat y'all in the trenches. Malena was more versatile and better in pass protection. Hence his heavy involvement.

You really know nothing about TAMU's approach there. Wow.

Upshaw weighed 280 and Hightower weighed 270's and ran a 4.5. But devall weighs in the 260's, Ragland 260, foster 250ish, Dickson 265. Carson is what 225? I'm sorry 40 pounds

Hightower ran a 4.7 at the combine at 265. No wonder y'all always get destroyed by the spread. Zero team speed on defense

And Upshaw ran a 4.75. Lol. We should have fun against that d for a while

Ok we agree on that.

My point about then being similar RBs is that Carson isn't a thumper or power back. I'm sorry, he's not. They are both balanced RBs and just because 1 is faster than the other according to your strength coach doesn't hold water on numbers and body type. From my brief understanding of your RB depth chart it seems they are both 6 foot and over 200 pounds.

That 2011 defense would have given you a raping you would never have recovered from. Wouldn't have mattered about the LBs because we stacked the box against everyone and put dre Kirk and milliner on an island.

Malena was an every down back. He could block, run inside, run outside, and catch passes. He didn't need to leave the game for certain plays. He could do it all. That is why he got the lion's share of touches.

Also when we play aTm we will use rashaan Evans, Dillon Lee, Depriest, and foster against you. "Space" LBs. Evans is going to make you wish he was a junior.

Saban wouldn't be too pleased that you are running around telling us the game plan. Because you do know exactly what Saban is going to do, right?

Ben melena was garbage. Carson and B.Williams are basically the same player. Tre Williams is the best of the 3

Malena was the best all around of the RB's, he could run/catch/block effectively. He also was cut out of wood and worked his arse off to earn his PT. He didn't have the raw talent of the others though.

Carson is a bruiser that is very athletic for his size. B Williams is more of a finesse back that is the fastest player on the team in straight line speed. TWill has is compact, strong and fast, and can juke you into the wrong side of a highlight reel.

The "starter" is just who is announced at the beginning more than anything, all 3 plus James White will get some carries.

Mk is he 225 or 240? Because he can't be both. 6 foot 200 plus and balanced is what I am making a case for, along with stats.
