Reading his posts is quite entertaining. It’s like when I was little and my gramps told me the story of the three little pigs.

I knew it was a fictional. But it was such a great story. It was compelling. I had to hear it over and over.

Texas Wrangler. Tell us how Texas can make the playoffs….dont leave out the part when the horns “Huff and puff and blows the house down”.

Thats the best part.

the 9-3 teams were left out and with an extra conference game those same teams would all have more losses scattered in there.

And how did those 9-3 SEC teams that were left out last year do in the bowl games? One lost to Illinois and one lost to Michigan lol. Keep your tears rolling

Any one of the teams you listed can take 2 looses for sure and still make the playoffs except for maybe Vandy. Vandy will be fighting its previous reputation. I think they need to win out.

Any one of those teams can take 3 losses as long as they somehow make the Sec title game and win it. That is giving up control of your own destiny though because if you don’t make it I doubt a 3 loss team can get in. Bama might can take 3 and make it as long as they beat Oklahoma. Assuming OU is still a top 25 team by the time they play.

It's a business and entertainment.

How have you liked not even smelling the playoffs Florida? Or how are the sec teams going to like being shut out this season by an undeserving Acc or big 12 team?

Texas could win out and still make it.

What are you even talking about? That was three paragraphs of gibberish.

All I said was playing Ohio state was not a great idea and not worth the loss given other teams will make the playoffs and skirted by in the ooc.

UT is 14th. If they win out they're in the playoffs, no question. They control their own destiny

Maybe. But maybe not

The only games until the end of the year between teams 1-13 are:

10 BYU vs 13 Texas Tech, so there’s your B12 AQ

8 Georgia Tech vs 5 Georgia

That’s it. Tennessee wins out and beats 9 Vanderbilt knocking them out. Everyone else wins out….

4 - won’t pass up any of the 1 or 0 loss SEC teams
3 - 1 loss B1G teams
1 - B12 Champ
1 - ACC Champ
1 - G5 Champ
1 - 2 loss Notre Dame
1 - 1 loss Miami that doesn’t play in ACCCG

=12

So do we really think the committee will leave out 1 loss Oregon, 1 loss Miami, or 2 loss Notre Dame in favor of 2 loss Tennessee which would be the 5th SEC team?

Tennessee needs help

I hate the whorns as much as anyone, but if they win out they’re in. They won’t

Win Saturday and knock out Vandy. Beat Georgia and they’re in before a 2 loss Georgia. Beat undefeated A&M and they’ll jump Tennessee and Notre Dame

Nightmare (but very possible) scenario for SEC:

Big 12 sneaks in two teams (e.g., an 11-1 Texas Tech loses close conf. championship game to BYU, Houston or Cincy)

ACC does the same thing, sending (e.g.) Miami and Ga Tech.

ND and a G5 champion take two more spots, leaving only six total for SEC and Big10.

OSU, Indiana, and Oregon get in, leaving only three spots for SEC teams.
