nd this is why I'm hoping the gamecocks beat the pumas of clemson. They are so cocky

lol, it isn't cocky to point out a 2 point loss at Clemson seems like a baseless prediction given they were blown out the last two years and they still have the same QB.

You def. overlooked SC fans during SC's 5 game streak against Clemson.....'fear the thumb'. etc.

You can do a search on my post history...you won't find my saying 'fear the thumb' even though this will be their 5th loss in a row if they don't win this year.

a team that will be replacing quarterback Shea Patterson

We already replaced him w/ Jordan Ta'amu who was pretty damn good and statistically better than Patterson. However, our D will still really suck so I would call that one a win too. Hope you have a good time in Oxford; its a cool place to go see a game and very different from seeing one in Columbia.

We bring back pretty much our whole team minus Johnson. Our season will basically hinge on Wilsons performance. Our game is a huge question mark.

Been to Oxford many many many times given so many family members are Ole Miss fans and I lived in Olive Branch as an adult way back when ... Maywood.

Knew the Brewer Brothers very well ... was in attendance at the Chucky Mullens game. I know Ole Miss football almost as well as Gamecock football ... all the way back to Coach Vaught.

I never miss a game in Oxford - one of my favorite places.

Hopefully 9-3.

I want South Carolina to be good. That game against Georgia should be very close. I'd expect Georgia to get a lot better as the season goes on, but Week 2 is a good time to catch them.

Yes, I know UGA and SCAR always play that week.

I'm kind of the opposite. Went to OM but live in Columbia now and the Gamecocks are my no. 2 team.

Chad Pennington, and his backup Byron Leftwich.

Moss was on the team the year before.

Funny to see a team like Marshall has had 2 first round Draft picks at QB in their time.

Yall embarrassed the SEC when you got drilled at home to Clemson.
And now you predict only a 2 point loss at Clemson? Lulz

9-3 is reasonable. I don't think 10-2 or even 11-1 is outlandish.

Agreed
But we still haven’t been able to shake the usual “WTF” loss.

Hopefully we do that this coming year while winning one we shouldn’t
