Forecast calls for thunderstorms(it's been raining every fricking day already). Both Olines are new, both teams have very good front sevens. Will be very low scoring with the weather limiting both teams passing games. Field is going to be mush, it's raining every day this week. Every...single..day. Just ridiculous. Hoping they keep a tarp on it till Saturday to protect the field some.

Hate that. I was hoping for a good, old fashioned slugfest.

Good luck to the Gatas.

They have four underclassmen on their offensive line including a true freshman at Left Tackle.

Rain or not, their defense will be on the field all game and we will likely, eventually, be able to run it against them because their offensive line isn't going to do shite.

Edit: I'll post their Week 0 Depth Chart.

I agree. Rain basically makes their offense void.

I think we win around 24-6 type of game now. They can't move the ball on the ground vs us with that line. Has to be one of the youngest and least experienced lines in the country.

I still think we get over 30 but I think it's going to be because of turnovers. Eventually they are going to have to try and throw it because there's no way that line is going to push us around and effectively all of the edge rushes are going to be slowed down and easy picking for our talented DBs.

Their front seven will be good, but I just don't think they're going to be able to last the entire game unless their offense finds a miracle.

A true freshman at LT, two sophomores at RG and RT. Goddamn that's going to be rough for them.

That fact that all these factors make it so obvious to take the under...means im taking the over.

Very possible. Even then it would still likely be under. With bad weather dont think either offense is going to put up massive numbers.

Thanks, I'll let my dad know, he bets. I'm too superstitious to bet.

The under was set before the weather was known though.

Not an aggie fan, but I am showing them support in their attempt to boycott the rant. Also, Oliver Queen is a dc comics character, grow up!

Some really good points here, thanks Straws.

I already liked Florida spotting the points but this cements it.

Nobody knows the weather.

That's why it's a bet, though, it's a risk. I personally would never bet on the first game regardless.

But I will bet anyone here that we score more than 20 points.
