What’s your favorite Bourbon for tailgating? Mine is Johnny Drum. Started by a Confederate soldier after the war when he returned to his farm in Bardstiwn and had to do something with his ruined corn crop. Not expensive but smoother than a lot of the pricey brands.

I try not to tailgate people when I’m drinking unless they’re going really, really slow.

It was actually my brother-in-law from Georgia who got me started on it.

Unlike the rest of you, I’m poor; bulleit was living it up; still is.
Where I don’t skimp is good rum; give me a good rum, hell, give me a Ron Zacapa 23, and I’m as pleased as punch.

I liked the old school Wild Turkey 80, with the green label. It tasted different than what they sell now. Spicier. I've tried the newer 80 proof. Too harsh for my tastes.

Tennessee is a whiskey State. More specifically Jack Daniels.
