I'm not going to Google tailgating. We're all capable of doing so.
Again, keep on doing your thing. Your fans clearly love it.
Differences are what makes cfb great.

Tailgating on asphalt is so not SEC bro. You not have grass in College Station?

That is the thing though its nothing special or unique that is what we are trying to get through to y'all. Its definitely not better than the tailgating done at any of the other bigger and better programs in the SEC. But other than the Grove what else can someone mention when they talk about Ole Miss football? Racism? Sucking? The Mannings? (And you didn't even have the best one of those)

Nobody gives a frick what you have to say. Literally everybody disagrees with you. Your own mother is ashamed of you. Everyone had such high hopes for you, and here you are, being a fricking lame piece of shite. SMGDH.

They're huggies at OM. I've been corrected multiple times.

That's debatable.

They're koozies for me, but I have friends call them huggies. Whatever.

fricking languages, how do they work?

You do realize that words can have multiple meanings, right? You also realize that languages evolve and many words take on meanings that are different from what they previously meant, right? Etymology, bro. Look it up.

I know where the term originated, but to say that there's a "true" form of tailgating is falling into the "no true Scotsman" fallacy. You don't get to decide what is and isn't tailgating, EKG. Sorry.

Look man, we get it and most of us agree, but here's the deal. Other fans will say "you Ole Miss fans act like you invented tailgating", well guess what, we did. We invented what is now known as tailgating for college football in the greater United States region. Starting around 10 years ago, we started being recognized for our vast achievement, and all Ole Miss fans started feeling like they should take part. Because of huge amounts of people we have had to make some laws for safety reasons. It kinda sucks, but you know what? We already earned our reputation as the best tailgating in America, and it's not going away no matter how much you bitch, so you can pour your drink in a cup and fricking deal with it.

I'm aware, thank you.
Based on my profession, it's actually funny that you ask.

Didn't mean to fire you up so early this a.m.
I didn't decide anything--nor was I implying that I did.
Just saying that I personally don't understand the lore of The Grove--but that I certainly appreciate those of you OM folks who do.
Peace.

Like EKG said I had fun at the Grove as well but no more fun than I have in Tuscaloosa, Auburn, or Baton Rouge and that was accompanied by winning football (only time Ole miss sees a championship football team is when a visitor is good), grills, and little to no enforcement of liquor laws.

We have our history with Racism but other than the ignorant frats/sororities (which should all be shut down) at least we are known for something else. That is the point people bring up the Grove because it is only good thing you guys have. Certainly not a football program to talk about.

Sorry class of 2010. But my assertion is correct people bring up the Grove because its the one positive about Oxford/Ole Miss football. Probably the only SEC town I have been to without decent BBQ as well.

always top 5 in tailgating, beautiful campus, college town, beautiful women, safest campus, greek life, and parting (think it has dropped the past few years though).....obviously everyone is biased to their school and their traditions but if you seriously don't have a good time here it's because you said before you came "it's overrated and i'm not gonna have a good time"
