And say why you think what you think.

True. Because aTm is going to get reamed in the west, and I think Mizzou will beat them head to head.

So you think Mizzou goes 7-5 and aTm goes 5-7?

Or 8-4 and 6-6?

Those two scenarios seem like the most possible if you're assertion comes true.

False:

You don't lose as many offensive linemen as they lost for the season and survive an SEC schedule intact.

Mizzou has a running QB coming off shoulder surgery in the spring. He's an essential part of the running game. If his shoulder gets re-injured, the backup QBs won't be up to the task. When you run a lot, you get hit a lot. It's a dangerous world out there! But, if Franklin stays healthy, he's a game-breaker! Go, MIZZOU!!!!!

With our injuries I'd be happy to win 7 games. Before our players started getting injured, I was far more optimistic.

But now I'm worried.

I smell fear.

Seriously though, you guys might have to raid the intramural fields by the time you get to us.

We will see I suppose.

Hey, hows Edmund Ray coming along?

You sure made a lot of noise ripping Mizzou fans who said he had academic issues. How does the crow taste Aggie?

I think the proposition is FALSE.

For Mizzou, I see:

3 games in which they are clear underdogs (USC, UGa, Alabama);

4 games in which they are clear favorites (UK, Vandy, SE La., UCF)

5 games that should be challenging and could go either way (Arizona State, Syracuse, Tennessee, Florida, Texas A&M)

Assuming they go 3-2 in the "tossups", that would mean 7-5 overall.

For A&M, it looks like this:

3 games in which they are clear underdogs (LSU, Arkie, Alabama)

5 games in which they are clear favorites (La. Tech, SMU, S.C. State, Ole Miss, Sam Houston St.)

4 games that should be challenging and could go either way (Auburn, Florida, Mississippi State, Missouri)

Assuming they go 2-2 in the "tossups", that would be 7-5 overall.

Even if Missouri wins head-to-head, it's still likely they wind up with similar records, IMO.

Really?

You really should do a little more homework. Syracuse's football program is in a terrible state right now.

It's true that I haven't really studied Syracuse, so maybe you are right. I know they beat the hell out of West Virginia last year, and they won a bowl game against K. State a couple of years ago. Simply based on the general level of program they have, I deemed it a challenging non-conference game.

Still, since I assumed 3-2 in the tossup games, you could put that one in the "clear favorite" column and assume 2-2 in the tossups, and you still wind up with the same record, 7-5.

I don't see how A&M could go 4-8. They'd have to lose to one of La. Tech, SMU, S.C. State, Ole Miss or Sam Houston State. I'd be surprised if they lost any of those games.
