Holy shite! That is a sobering stat. "Bama busts" seem to be a real phenomenon.

It's fricking retarded.

Not really, you have to cross the goal line to actually score a TD.
quote:

By this metric, Tom Brady never scored a point in a Super Bowl.

So what, his receivers sure did. And you don't have to score TDs to get rings.

Really?

Who holds the record for passing TDs in a season?

Why keep track of that stat if they don't count?

Did they throw the ball to themselves?

You can't be this stupid.

So when the QB throws a TD to a receiver, it's actually TWO TDs, worth 12 points? Does the kicker get two tries afterwards?

The stat doesn't count IN THIS INSTANCE because they're counting players who actually possessed the football in the end zone.

I understand your frustration that Alabama is coming in last in this case, but it'll be okay.

Actually, on second thought, for Alabama, it won't be okay for quite some time.

I don’t think excluding QB passes is the dumbest part of this “statistic.”

The dumbest part of this statistic is that you have to add the caveat of “finished their career at Alabama” for it to work. I guess we get to pretend that Jalen Hurts didn’t play for 3 years and graduate with a degree from Bama. Since he became a grad transfer, he doesn’t count.

As anyone that's not a complete retard can plainly see, the WR and QB are both jointly credited with a passing TD. Such a weird and desperate way to try and troll Bama.

You really had to provide a graphic?

They just don't want to double count TDs FOR THIS ONE frickING ANALYSIS.

Man, if this silly little stat is breaking the Alabama fan base, I can't wait for next fall.

Because everything in the world is all about Alabama, right?

This stat in the OP that you’re arguing about, specifically, is.

When dealing with a person that was dumb enough to make the above argument (and you're still making it), it definitely seemed necessary.

Because there are three more on the other teams defense, stopping them.

Another crazy stat.

No Alabama Left Tackles or Linebackers have ever rushed for more than 35 yards in a single NFL game.

Talk about pathetic.

Not where it counts, the scoreboard.

I'm not making an argument, I'm explaining to the mouth breathers (like you) how different stats may be used to generate different analyses.

You tards are just bent out of shape that Alabama comes up with a big ZERO in this analysis. Proving, once again, what a bust Alabama players are when it comes to the NFL.

What about throwing for a touchdown? Alabama's had about a 1/2 dozen QBs who have thrown a TON of Super Bowl TD passes.

"The University of Alabama has a unique tradition of winning Super Bowl championships. Three different starting quarterbacks each have won Super Bowls: Bart Starr, Joe Namath and Ken Stabler. The trio combined to win four of the first 11 Super Bowls. All three are members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame"

Sorry, I should have said that not every article that's negative about Alabama is some kind of troll. Posting a link to the article on this board may be, though.

I'm just going to leave this idiot's thread here where he said LSU had the best chance of beating Bama, a few days before the game when Bama won 29-0.

So I didn't actually predict LSU would beat Alabama, right?

Wow, you got me.

This is how you possess the football in the end zone during a Super Bowl game:

Surprised myself as the first 3 Super Bowl MVP's were from Bama. I guess Stablers TD to Casper only goes in the books for Casper.
