Hmm, Alabama is likely the team to beat in the SEC.

Maybe Arkansas and/or Florida will contend for it.

SEC goes 3-8 this weekend. Oof.

This is shaping up to be a very bad year for SEC basketball.

Based off what I have seen so far, I think the SEC Title will come down to Florida and Bama… but both of those look like 3 or 4 seeds in the NCAA Tourney at best.

I think Arky, Vandy, Auburn, and Tennessee are likely Tournament teams but are probably looking at 5-9 seeds…. Georgia might be in this group but I’d like to see them play another decent team. They are 8-1 but an unimpressive 0-1 against the KenPom Top 80.

For now, I think Kentucky, Georgia, LSU, and Missouri are likely not Tournament teams but haven’t lost enough yet to bad teams to necessarily be ruled out. Probably one or maybe two of those make it.

Ole Miss, State, Texas, Oklahoma, A&M, and South Carolina appear to be on the road to missing the tournament.

I don’t think anyone is getting close to Michigan, UConn or Duke anyways. Maybe Purdue?

Purdue just got smoked by Iowa State. It's early though, and in this NIL era it's going to be a lot of teams trying to gel before the tournament starts.

Today was the first game where Texas Tech looked "good"

Also last year was the fluke with SEC basketball being elite. They hadn't won in over a decade with Kentucky in 2012.

They looked good against LSU, yes.
