Nah yeah it's not you who is wrong, it's literally everyone else including the umpires who reviewed it

It went over the yellow, and hit something right beyond the fence. It is a homerun

If the ball hits the TOP of the wall, above the yellow line it’s a homerun.
Looked to me like it hit the top of wall after clearing the yellow line on the fence and bounced back into play.

LOL at LOLSU baseball fans whining and crying about getting their asses kicked by the BaseVOLS

Just look it up. I’m not gonna argue literal facts with you.
They called it a homerun because they thought they couldn’t prove that it hit the yellow and not something behind it.
If it hits the yellow and comes back into play it’s not a home run. Not in any rules of baseball

Lord. Complain about 15 walks in 2 games. Now that we can all agree is BS

The umpires agree with me. It was a homerun.

I said I thought it hit the yellow so it wasn’t a home run
I was then told that if it hits the yellow it is a home run (wrong)
^ The above is the point being argued
Whether it was a home run or not is based on whether you thought it hit the yellow or something behind it

It doesn't even make any logical sense for it to be a HR if the ball comes back into play.

Game 3 could get heated:
"There's been some jawing back-and-forth between Tennessee and LSU players since the end of the game. Game three set for 2:30 p.m. ET. Remember that it's just seven-innings due to SEC rule."

Arkansas had a walkoff HR overturned this year when the ball hit the yellow but came back into play.

Hopefully nothing stupid. Some healthy dislike is great for sports. But, we don't want anything to get out of hand.

I mean thanks for the back up but I already knew the rule. Mob mentality is a funny thing though

You guys play Vandy next?

This! It's either out of the park or not

quote:you are correct.
It was a homerun.
I have watched it rewinding Sling stream now 17 times.
the ball hits the BRICK COLUMN at the right base of the batter's eye about 4 feet above the yellow padding on the wall. the ball then carries down into the PINE STRAW behind the wall - next to the tree to the right of the batter's eye - and then caroms back over the yellow padding into the field of play.
the ball's first contact of anything once it left Allen's bat was the brick column that is at the right base of our batter's eye - which is over the wall and the damn yellow padding.
thus

It was a homerun.
